FIVE OPENING QUESTIONS
Can I ask you some questions to determine where God is working?
Do you have any kind of spiritual belief?
To you, who is Jesus?
Do you believe there is a heaven and a hell?
If you died right now, where would you go? If heaven, why?
If what you believe were not true, would you want to know?
SCRIPTURES
I want to share the Gospel in a way that will give you peace and assurance that heaven is your ultimate home. Listen to these scriptures. After each scripture think about what that scripture is saying to you.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day. (I Corinthians 15:3-4)
If you declare with your mouth, : “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. (Revelation 3:20)
FIVE CLOSING QUESTIONS
Are you a sinner?
Do you want forgiveness of your sins?
Do you believe Jesus died on the cross for you and rose again?
Are you willing to surrender yourself to Jesus Christ?
Are you ready to invite Jesus into your heart and into your life?
If yes, let us pray …
Father in Heaven, I know that I have broken Your laws and that my sins have separated me from You. I want to turn away from my past sinful life. Please forgive me and help me avoid sinning again. I believe You sent Your Son Jesus Christ, who died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead and is now alive. I surrender my life to You and invite Jesus to become the “Lord of my life” - to rule and to rein in my heart from this day forward. Please send me Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
